Hi everyone,
I encountered with the problem of how to control a dry contact roller shutter motor (Somfy motors)?
- FGR-221 is not applicable.
- In case of using FGS-221, will FGS-221 knows the status (fully open/fully close/partial)?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Boris

No. There is no way for FGS221 to get this information.
If you have limit switches on the motor, you could connect them to a separate module - such as a Universal Binary Sensor - and use scenes or PLEG to turn of the FGS221 when the limit is reached.
You could also use the auto-off feature of FGS221 to turn the relay off after a preset time.
Use a z-wave to dry contact motor module. (12VDC supply required)
Includes directly into the z-wave network and shows as a a shade motor in the Vera UI.
Otherwise same, solder the up/stop/down outputs to the transmitter or to any motor dry contact input, without forgetting the common.
