in the z-wave options, there is an option to backup the dongle. I have not seen anything that tells how to do that or whether I need another dongle to back it up to. I’m afraid to just click on it to see what happens. Advice?

The dongle back up function is described here:

It is part of the procedure for restoring your z-wave network to a new dongle. (IE When we got our recalled dongle replaced with the new firmware upgradable one)
