Dlink Camera changing Ip Address in Vera

Hello folks…

I have installed a dlink camera and setted up with 192.168.1.50 ip…
this ip address is out of range of my dhcp router…
I put this ip in vera and all is ok…but when a iphone taking 192.168.1.84 ip address my cam lost connection and the ip address of the camera in vera
change to 192.168.1.84 ( the same ip of the iphone)…

someone with tips for this ?

Setup your router to always give the camera the same address!
Each router has different names for this … Something like a DHCP reservation.

I had a problem this morning where I found that all my cameras had scrambled their IPs. Somehow, my router lost all the mappings that I had in place.

I had to go through and specify in each camera (after finding them!) what their IP was to be. I’ll go through tonight and remap them, so I’ve got two things in place to make sure they stay that way.

Is there not an option to make the ip addresses static vs dynamic?

If there is this will prevent them from changing addresses in the future
