is it somehow possible to temporary disable a device ?

i have a faulty z-wave device which i do not want to delete yet as it is used in serval scenes and some luup code.

but the vera keeps flooding the log with communication errors
is there a way to simply have vera set to completly ignore a device temporary ?

I have not tried the setting but in the Advanced tab, there is a check box for disabled.

tried already the visible things … no real effect

All Z-Wave devices are handled by Vera … even if you delete the device … it will notice it and re-create a device for it.

You need to exclude it from the Z-Wave network to get Vera to stop talking to it.
