So after upgrading my setup I installed Vera Concierge on the same host where my HA Bridge was running. Had trouble with the nssm.exe version and auto starting, but eventually got that sorted. Bought one license key for one of the two Vera’s on my account, and got it installed properly. Linked my Concierge to the Home unit using the Home app.
Can ask to speak with Vera Concierge (a veritable mouthful - need a shortcut), and it responds by telling me it can help me control my devices, and asks which Vera unit to use.
I cannot answer. It always fails to understand the Vera name I tell it. I checked the “My Activity” and it’s reading the word properly. But Concierge always fails to understand.
Any advice?
Which Vera controller? Which Vera controller?
I can’t get past this question. It interprets my spoken words properly, but never responds with anything but this.
Is there anything I can do to get this working?
You need to use the command:
Use “Your Vera Name”
The Vera names should be shown on the “Local Concierge Server” config page.
This is only an issue if you have more than one Vera … it does not know which one to use.
Thanks. It’s still stuck asking me “Which Vera Controller” even though it understands me perfectly, according to the Android app.
I’ll keep at it for a couple days and see if I can figure it out. If nothing else, the fact that my Vera Alerts can play on all the Cast devices is worth the price of admission.
Did you try to say:
USE MY_VERA_NAME
See the google voice commands … the USE command is how you select the Vera.
Send me an email with your Vera Serial Number(s).
That is what I’m saying, yes.
The android app reads it perfectly “Use XXXXX”, but keeps responding “Which Vera Controller?”
Will send an email - thanks for your help.
Have you successfully done all the steps, including step 7

The problem with Vera Concierge asking you to pick a Vera controller (only an issue for first use for users with multiple Vera’s) has been fixed.
It now just defaults to one, with a message indicating which one it is using.
Then you can use the “USE VeraName” command to change it if defaulted to the wrong one.
Awesome, thanks so much for the quick fix. Will try as soon as I get home.
Edit - just tried from my phone at work - works great, thank you again.
