Devolo smoke detector/Vera Edge/UI7

Hi,

one of the countless questions I’ve now got :slight_smile:
I’ve got a Devolo MT2651 which is Z-wave + compatible. How do I include this in Vera Edge/UI7 correctly?
I used an “Everspring” smoke detector model which from the exterior looks identical. Of course I know
nothing about the interior :wink:
Problem is: I get a _Generic IO device with Off/On buttons but my device is not noted as a smoke detector.

Help, anyone? Can I switch my device somehow?
For example the alarm type? (Where can I look up these alarm types?)

the same problem with Devolo Scene Switch MT2652. Is it any plans to implement Devolo devices in Vera?

what happens if you change the device file to D_SmokeSensor1.xml ?

Hey man, did you ever get this sorted. I just purchased of these thinking it would be perfect. Added to the wall with the screws, just went to add it to the Vera Edge Controller and nothing, well Generic Device like you but it isn’t working.
