Devices randomly turning on after nightly heal

I started noticing that devices would be turned on when I woke up in the morning and didn’t know why until it was my bedroom lights at ~0200. It happens AFTER the nightly heal and I see the following errors in my alerts

		02:23:37	Reboot:CPUDiff: 358154 Now:1382343817	0					
		02:23:36	CheckCpuUsage count 5 sec 1211 idle 0 iSystem 0 delay 189

This time corresponds to when Vera is running it’s nightly heal and rotating the logs and stuff. Is anyone else having similar problems and is the simple fix to disable vera routing?

I noticed that some devices react oddly to the heal /stress test process.

  • Duewi in-wall switches sometimes blink off and on a few times when healing (thankfully only when they are already on).
  • A Fibaro blind controller lowered my awnings during the heal cycle.
  • Someon on this forum mentioned his garage door mysteriously opening and closing… maybe due to the heal as well?

I have had my garage doors open in the middle of the night more than once, alarms go nuts and it scares the heck of us in our sleep. I found this old thread searching for ways to turn off nightly heal. Getting up earlier now and Vera not responding as its in the middle of its heal. Unless I add devices, I can’t see the need for nightly heal anyway??

I had the problem using the days and night plug-in. It seemed to get confused after the heal.

Could never get that one to work for me…lack of documentation…downside to many plugins. i just did the uncheck vera routing today. Maybe that will help with some of the issues in the early am and random devices being activated.

Yes, that will stop the nightly heal. I disabled Vera routing a few weeks ago as part of a troubleshooting process, and I really like NOT having that nightly heal…

Anything to increase stability is a huge plus for me…
