I’ve been setting up the DSC plug-in which requires that I use a USB to Serial (RS232) adapter.
I have it all working (the adapter is recognized by the OS), but one thing I noticed is that if I plug in the adapter to USB port 1, the USB 2 LED comes on. If I plug it into USB port 2, the USB 2 LED still comes on. Surely USB port 1 should light up the USB 1 LED on the front panel?

I’ve also ordered the adapter recommended by Micasaverde in the DSC documentation to try that.
Could this indicate a faulty adapter or a software glitch?
