I’m fairly sure of the answer but figured I would ask. I’m looking for a way to potentially trigger a condition off of a period of time prior to a schedule being true. Unfortunately I figure the only option would be to create multiple schedules all at varying intervals prior to schedule in question.
There is no way in PLEG to have a trigger before something happens. Look at it another way and set your Schedule for the earliest time you want then run a SelfTrigger interval timer using your calculated time to delay the next step. You can use the interval timer again if you need multiple steps.
You may find PLEG’s State Variable facility useful to keep track of the steps.
Asking PLEG to be a mind reader is probably past RTS’s vision of PLEG could do…
Does the Condition occur regularly or at random times?
If it’s regular you could schedule it to activate at T - x hh:mm:ss, otherwise,if RTS does work out a solution to this, perhaps PLEG could be used for Saturday night Lotto…!
