Deleting a control screen...?

I’ve upgraded to v1.98, and I was playing with the captions on my control screens. In order to get the captions below the icons on the main screen, I had to insert 9 spaces and hard returns. In doing so, the names of each control screen disappears in the “Go to screen” action list. None of this really matters, except to say that at first I couldn’t find which screen I wanted one of my buttons to link to. So I created a new control screen to test it. Now I can’t delete the control screen.

What’s the secret? It’s not on the website, that I can see. And I’ve searched the forums, but I haven’t found anything.

You can delete a control screen by deleting it’s button from the home screen.

By the way, why the hard returns in the name? There already is an option to display the title at the bottom of the button.

Re: hard returns… I was just trying to position the title where I wanted it, vertically. Turning off the “center text” button IS the cleaner option.

I’ve already deleted the button for that control screen from the home screen, and the screen itself remains.

EDIT: Hmm… I just revisited this, and the control screen is gone…? Last night while doing this, I deleted the button and it stayed. I then re-added the same button to the home screen and deleted it again, in case I did something wrong, and it was still there. Odd. It’s fixed now, anyway… thanks for the quick response.

If you delete a button, its screen remains in the swipe rotation. However if you force kill the app and restart, it’ll be gone. An annoying bug…

I and that exact issue. Good to know it was just a big and was t really there anymore.

On the lines of his text issue, I had a similar question. I wanted to use kind of a separator on my screen to denote lamps from overhead lights. I made a row of small squares which I then combined into one long bar. I then added “no control” to the long bar and typed “lamps,” but the text was really small. There was plenty of room for the text to be larger but no way to control it. Is there a better way to handle this than adding a picture of text?
