So I watched a variable: Watts. I have it set to shwo me avg over different time sets.
But now I’d like to have it set to Sum as well. But it seems that I can only do one or the other. Is that the case?
Yes, only one aggregation function per file is supported by the Whisper database. One solution is to make multiple files - the original Graphite system uses a daemon called a Relay to replicate channels. Another would be to do the calculation on the fly when plotting, which the Graphite Web system does with function calls on its URL interface, but I did not implement in DataGraph, so you would have to extract the data and do it yourself. Sorry.
On a similar theme, I am watchng current temperature on my thermostats but would also like to watch setpoint and heating state (whether calling boiler for heat) but when I add either of these others it stops the current temperature from recording.
Should this be possible?
