Twice now dataMine has caused my Vera to reboot after each time I turn on/off a light. I can watch the logs in real-time that shows the vera is soft rebooting, as soon as I uninstall datamine my vera is back to normal. I am currently logging about 30+ items in datamine to an external SD card and I do not have the Vera Lite logging its log to USB, only internal. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Am I logging to many variables to datamine or is there something else that could be causing the issue? Thank You for any help or suggestions.
You are probably running low of memory and need to have logs on USB stick … However there are lots of problems with DataMine when you log to a USB stick.
You probably need to upgrade:
Vera2 → Vera Lite
or
Vera Lite → Vera 3
or
Vera 3 → SOL … Wait until next year … or who knows when.
Or dig in and fix the bugs with Data Mine on Vera when a USB stick is also installed.
The original author is not actively supporting this plugin.
Thanks Richard for the reply. I am currently logging datamine to an 8GB thumb drive are you saying also to log the Vera Logs to a separate USB thumb drive might help? I am currently using a Vera Lite so maybe instead of me logging 30+ devices I just need to keep it under 5 devices and see how it goes? Has anyone else had any problems with this? I can always tell right away when its happening because AuthomationHD will show java json connection errors and I can watch the red light on the Vera turn off, and when watching the logs I can tell its doing a reload. It is too bad the dev stopped supporting this. Does anyone else have any other plugins that do nice graphing they use? Thanks

I had 12 channel on USB drive and they simply vanished. I have absolutely no idea why it happened.
