Hey everyone, setting up a new veralite and all was going well, including the upgrade, but now the unit’s dashboard screen won’t fully load… any ideas? We tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but still nothing. The UI7 dashboard loads the left hand side of the screen with the gray menu, and the little weather widget in the upper right. The middle is blank white with the spinning green ‘loading’ circle. Anyone seen this before?

I think it is a local problem, as you should be connecting directly to the device’s IP address on your home network. It’s loading the UI right from your device over the local network.
I don’t know but I hope a rapid solution

I think it’s ok, I have again all menu, I restore my backup now

Update: it’s working on another computer. For some reason the other laptop would not load correctly, still won’t. Oh well, glad it’s working.

If you are using Internet Explorer 10/11 and have this issue, go to settings (pinwheel icon top right), Safety, Delete Browsing History. Make sure top line (Preserve Favorites Website Data) is unchecked. The temporary files and cookies lines should definitely be checked as well as the Active X one. The rest is up to you. Then click the Delete button. When complete, exit IE via ALT-F4 (Close from top left menu). Do not exit by clicking the X icon.
Now restart IE and see if that fixes the issue.
Yes you have to clear the cache on an upgrade before things look right.
