I have installed and connected the vera 2 to my schlage door levers at my condo. Now i have been searching for two days on the dash board to see how i can monitor the access code log and to schedule these codes i have just entered on the log. can someone help? Thanks in advance.
I have 2 bolts and two levers.
- Click on a lock’s wrench (settings) and go to the logs tab.
- Go to the day you want to view and it should show you all events for that lock if there were any.
- if none shown, uncheck ‘unread only’
It seems the logs only show for the day/date you select. I’ve not figured out how to do a ‘show all for last month’ or similar typ elog.
In the notifications tab, you can set email notifications for certain events such as low battery or bad PIN. I’m trying to figure out how I can set this for certain times only. Eg, get a notification if a door is opened or closed when I am at work. I may have to create a scene to achieve that…

I went to the lock’s wrench (settings) and then proceeded to go to the “Logs” tab, but the Log tab is completely blank.
I went to the notification for the low battery but the cleaning lady pin code does not appear in the drop down menu.
Also, do I need to connect the Vera 2 to the DSL modem in order for the Vera to work wireless? I do have a wireless router. I am not at my condo to test this out.

My Vera2 is on UI5, Are you using UI4 or UI5? Not sure how it works on UI4. Never tried it there.
The notifications I don’t think allow you to specify a event for a certain PIN. Only for ‘PIN entered’, ‘bad PIN’ or ‘PIN entered outside valid date range’. I’m not sure if the lock even reports what PIN was entered if it was valid.

I was browsing the FAQ and found below tidbit. It looks like you can get a notification for a specific PIN.

If you want to receive a notification when “A pin code is entered”, you must enter the name of the notification, and in the field “What PIN code INDEX number?” enter the index number of the desired pin code to reveive a notification. For example, if you have 4 pin codes on your door lock, and you want to add a notification for the second pin code in the list you should enter “2” in that field. To see the pin code list, click on the “wrench icon” and go to Pin codes, there you will see Existing codes.
I think from what I read from another thread in this forum, I think I updated to a patch that has not been tested. A lot of the items are missing with the patch. It was at the condo so now I can’t update to a better patch until I go back to the condo.
