Somebody knows if Vera is compatible with Danfoss RA plus Thermostats ?

We just spoke on IM. Yes, it should work. Since it’s a Euro model we haven’t tested it, though. But if it doesn’t, we’ll fix it within 2 weeks of giving us access to the logs.
be aware that it requires SIS mode and some command classes like multi command. It is a setback schedule thermostat.

I’m am trying to configure a Danfoss RA Plus, and at first it seems to recognize it, as a Standard Thermostat.
But after configuring and getting a green icon, the device page sort of freezes and after a refresh, the device is gone and a new one wants to be configured, but now it is a Generic Input Output device (with manufacture name Danfoss) and it have no temperature and so on.
I don’t know what SIS mode is, has this something to do with it ?
Has anyone succeeded an installation of Danfoss RA Plus

Peter. Be sure you’re running the latest .541 release. If you are, try looking for our developer online, micasaverde.com, click support, and use the live chat. We’ll need you top open the back door and we’ll look at the device. It should be working fine.
I am running .541
I have have now posted on tech support from vera and enabled remote access.

I’m trying to get my 2 Danfoss RA plus thermostats to work also. I’m using ver. 1.0.541.
When I try to turn the thermostat on og off, nothing happens on the thermostat. The logs says “Failed with TXStatus: 1”. When I manually activate the buttom on the thermostat, the status on the dashboard changes correctly.
The manual says theese classes are supported:

not sure if that version, im running a new firmware version
budt hold the button 2 sec to the red light turns on and click poll now. and it will be detected right.
I have tryed mine, and it works.
Remember the Danfoss only wake up every 15 - 20 minutes.

I will do some more testing.
I have setup two scenes now, that will turn them off in the evning and on in the morning, so I will wait and see if this works.
Advise needed,
Is this device still working on the new vera 2 , with software version 1.1.1338
Because all my devices are not running for a long while.

All my Danfoss RA plus thermostats stopped working right after the update to 1.1.1245 (Vera V1 and Vera V2). The update to 1.1.1338 didn’t solve the problem and I doubt that the problem is fixed in 1.1.1350 …
If your thermostats are working, don’t Z-Wave-exclude them. You won’t be able to Z-Wave-reinclude them from 1.1.1245 on!
I had a lengthy and discomforting discussion with MCV in the private beta forum about this regression ([tt]http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,7477.0.html[/tt]): MCV isn’t able to reproduce the problem (they don’t own a Danfoss RA plus in working condition …) and MCV isn’t willing (or able …) to provide a fix. MCV even tried to blame me/my regression report for diverting their resources from completing UI5.
I have the strong suspicion that the claimed support for the new Danfoss thermostat broke the support for the old one.

It is a shame , a lot of customers would buyed this Danfoss velves. Especially here in the Netherlands.
Did you talk to Aaeron ? of only customer service.

I’m losing interest in Vera, so I didn’t follow up on the Danfoss regression. The ROI is just too low …
