Ok will try again.
can you please

  • confirm UI version and AltUI version
  • give me a screen shot
  • verify and pass me the Json file that this device is actually using
  • note down the plugin ID and go to MiSC DEBUG JavaScript code and choose “one device’s state” type the altuiid ( like 0-55 ) and give me the output.

Thx

Hi amg0
Thanks, it isnow possible to see the current temperature.
I would wisch that it would show “new target” as well.
But there is still a problem with changing the temperature. The slider is no good, and the keabord input is no good either.
Vera starts the sending of the change instantly…before the input is finished.

Am I the only one using Danfoss thermostat in ALTUI ???

CE

Svaled, sorry was really busy
I am not totally clear on what you would be needed. would it be possible for you to do a small graphic , place the various elements and explain with some arrows and callouts the function of each elements ( buttons etc ) as well as underling device variable that these elements should act on ?

Hi amg0
Thanks !
For the moment I am pretty busy too.
Sure I will give it a try. I had the hope that someone more clever than me would try, but if not, I will give it a go.
You will hear from me, but it may take some time.

Hello CE
can you please upgrade to latest version of ALTUI ( 936 ), reload etc and then apply the patch attached here and let me know if this improves the situation ?
I have tried to not display the CoolSetPoint irrelevant in your situation and also prevent the control panel refresh to happen while you are in the middle of editing the temparature value manually in the device control panel.
thx !

I have sent you a mail.

Svaleb, it seems potentially another user has the same issue too.

can you try to use this url
http:///port_3480/data_request?id=action&output_format=json&DeviceNum=&serviceId=urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSetpoint1_Heat&action=SetCurrentSetpoint&NewCurrentSetpoint= and let me know if that works ?

Maybe I am doing something wrong.
Nothing is happening “server takes to long to answer”
I put in my IP number and number of the termostat 165 and the current setpoint 17… is that correct ?

yes correct, this url should work and is triggering the following UPNP action:

service:urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSetpoint1_Heat
action:SetCurrentSetpoint
parameter:NewCurrentSetpoint
value: 17 in your example

this is standard VERA UPNP api , if running that url does not do it , then we have a seperate issue

can you try this beta version to see if that improves ?

Yes, Something is going on.
But it does not help as you can not see what temp you are setting, as the digit does not change.
More to follow…

Yes, using the widget the temp. rose 1/2 degree but I am unable to control what the setting is as no change is visible before the settig is “taken”.
So sorry to say it does not work.

ok but at least does it now behave like on UI5 ?

No, not quite, ui5 shows the “new target” setpoint for a short while. You can click it up 15.16,17…and then it goes back to “current setpoint”.
At one time I had 10 of these termostats and then I could not remember witch ones I had given a new target, that is why I surgest both digits shown “current” and “new target” when fhey are alike the new target has taken.

ok, can you please try this one & let me know how it goes ?
thx

Hmm.
Right now the temp. on the radiator shows 17, in ui5 it shows 17, in altui widget black digit (the left one) shows 20, red digit (the right one) shows 22,3. In controlpanel it shows 170.
I have tried the arrows in altui widget, the red digit on the right 22,3, reacts…I tried to set it down, but it is too fast and goes back to 22,3.
Right now I do not know what the temp. outcome will be.

Well, it came out with 20 on the radiator, 20,3 in ui5, no change in altui widget (20 left and 22,3 right), controlpanel shows 203.

I have tried to change temp. from controlpanel it does not react.

By the way the danfoss is only capable 1/2 degree settings.
