I have a Schlage Nexia Deadbolt and I use it to manage access to a commercial building. I have 11 codes in use and I want to setup vera so that whenever the lock is unlocked I get a notification with a custom message that says “Door Unlocked by User: John Doe”. I see that I could create an notification trigger for each and every pin number but that’s not really what I want because I don’t like the ugly message that is sent with the notification. I would rather have a clean simple custom message.
How do I do this? I was thinking I could write a Luup script (which I have never done before) but I don’t see how to setup the trigger for that script. Can Luup send SMS messages?
