Does anyone know how I can make it so only one device shows up under devices when I learn in my CT100? I had the CT30 and did not have this prblem.
I have exactly the same problem with the CT100. I also have added a CT30 to the network without any issues.
Raise an MCV support ticket. I think two of the devices should have been set to Invisible so they do not appear on the dashboard.
What Vera firmware version are you running?
I am running the latest version: 1.5.622
I raised an issue with Tech Support and they responded immediately, although it’s not fixed yet.
Same problem a couple of weeks ago. Created tech ticket and they fixed it with an hour or so. The devices will still appear in the overview but they are aware of that and may even mention it to you.
They also suggested that I could then exclude and include the thermostat and it would come back as one and not be in the overview. That didn’t happen so created another ticket and they removed the other two from the dashboard.
Great tech support! Quick and communicative.
We finally have a fix for this problem. Here is what you need to do:
Update your firmware to v1.5.622 then Install the “MiOS Update Utility” plugin
For those less experienced, there is how its done. Install Firmware v1.5.622 (or higher) by going to Setup > Firmware from the menu. Follow instruction on that page. Then after its installed, install the “MiOS Update Utility” plugin. To do that, login to your VeraLite or Vera3 and go to the Apps > Install Apps from the main menu. On that page, enter “MiOS Update Utility” in the search box at the top of the list and click the Show button. Finally, click the Install button next to the “MiOS Update Utility” app. Once its finished installing, click the Reload button in the top right of the page. That’s it!!! Problem solved.
Ok, so I loaded the app. I was already at the firmware. When I initially installed the thermostat, it created the three devices and I asked support to remove two of them. This left the same extra two devices in the overview. I was hoping this activity would remove those devices but it didn’t.
What is the expected result after installing the app and reloading?
Did you install the Mios Update utility as PeterGP75 suggested? What it does is update/replace device files as they become updated and available for certain devices on the market, without having to update the entire firmware. This is what solves the CT-100/101 issues for the 3 devices that appear.

Ok, thanks. Yes I installed the MIOS update utility app. So I am guessing from what you say that once it updates basically my existing firmware, if I were to install another thermostat, it would only create one device. I supposed I could uninstall the thermostat and move it back although I don’t know if it would remove the items from the overview area since they no longer appear in the devices list. I was just hoping to get rid of the ghosts.
Yes, you need to uninstall/exclude the current device(s) that you don’t desire, make sure the update utility has run, then go through the inclusion process. This should hopefully get you where you want to be.
FYI, I have a CT-101 and it shows as one device, so there is hope
Let us know how it goes.

Thank you, how can I tell if the update utility has run? It didn’t seem to create a device or anything that I can see in the UI
Make sure you have restarted Vera, you should see it here:
