Cooper Zwave Remote auxiliary switch set up

Hello,
I installed the 3way Cooper switch. I have connected both devices to my Vera device and can control the light with the main switch, but when I push the button on the auxiliary remote dimmer switch it does nothing. I don’t know how to link the two and need some help to do this. I am using the Vera application connected to my controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am reaching frustration. Thank you

You need to associate the switchs. In device options for the main switch, add group association 1, then click set and hit the check boss for the aux switch, then save the settings.

Then go to the aux switch and repeat. Add group 1 association, cleat Set button then hit the check hisxon the main switch and save.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but why do you need to associate back from the master to the slave. Surely the slave does not have a load connected and so does not need to be switched by the master. On my TKB type, I only associate one way.

The Aux has an LED on it that indicates if the light is on. If you don’t associate the Aux back to the Master, th LED on the Aux won’t stay in sync when you use the Master switch. Coopers are a little unique that way.

In addition the LEDs won’t stay in sync if you controller the master from the Vera UI or a scene. You need to create an On scene that triggers on On on the master and use the advance editor to turn the Aux On. Then create an Off scene to do the same.
