convert WinApi program with JS to vera plugin for RS232 (Monoproice Amp)

Is this a huge undertaking? or relatively small? I have no knowledge of LUUP or VERA plugins.

I was hoping to utuilize all the JS files calling them from the plugin. is this a feasible approach?
