You just create 2 scenes.
1 will turn all the lights on at sunset: Just keep adding commands for each light. Then create a timer, select days of the week and select at sunset. Simple!
For sunrise you do the exact same thing except you select at sunrise instead.
This is only for your “example” though. In the individual commands you can change things. So say you have 2 lights set by the timer to come on at sunset but you want one to turn off in an hour and the other to turn off in three hours. You can set each command to do something else to the individual devices after a certain amount of time. The option is right there.
Ok, I only have the one light control now. I will add four more this weekend. I When I look at the command tab for the scene I don’t see the ability to add additional devices. I suppose once they are actually installed and included they will show in the command tab for the scene.
Off the bat I should declare that I have no idea what a UIRT is. That being said, there is no way of having problems here. The issue raised by the OP was (apparently) due to lack of experience with and knowledge of the way Vera works. When you set up a scene you need to make a command. You select the device and then tell it what to do. After this there is a drop down that lets you choose what to do next. You can instruct it to do nothing or to do something again in a specified amount of time. It isn’t too complicated but it does take a couple minutes of tinkering to figure it out… maybe.
Roger, I am a newcomer to this. It is as you said. This am I added a control to my patio lights, included it and added it to my Outside lights room. Lo and behold it showed up in both the lights on and lights off scenes.
