Control APIs for Kwikset locks

I work for a Crestron installer and we have a customer interested in using the Kwikset Z-wave locks with their Crestron system. I’m looking into using the Vera as a Z-wave bridge but I understand there are some restrictions on invoking the unlock command from remote control interfaces. For interfacing to the Crestron system, I was planning on using the simplified HTTP GET interface for invoking UPnP actions. Would this work for the Kwikset locks or would Vera not expose them as UPnP devices? If this would not work, is there some other way I could hook into Vera over TCP/IP to lock/unlock the Kwikset devices and get their current status from Crestron?

If this works out, I’d like to use Vera in more Crestron installs and write some interface modules for common Z-wave devices. Thanks!

The locks can be controlled via the upnp interface from my understanding. You can also have vera issue unlock and lock via the html address. Have a look here:

Yep, this is pretty much the same way that SQ remote and the other apps interface with it.

I know this was a few years back, but did you have any muck writing any modules?
I have a Vera3 and a MC3 and would like to be able to control my dimmers, switches, and door locks.

I have some modules i got on here from another user that was willing to share, but the feedback is not working and it does not do locks.

Let me know!
