Connecting multiple VERA units setup.

so I’ve tried a couple different times to add my vera 2 as a slave to my blank vera lite. I never see the vera 2 show up in the list of uPnP devices. Any ideas? Do I need to configure something on either vera to allow it to be detected as a uPnp device?

– edit –

So, I did the reverse. Try to slave the vera lite to the vera 2, and the vera 2 did find the vera lite. Any ideas why that might be? I did not reset the vera 2 to factory defaults.

[quote=“seanc, post:9, topic:167399”]Hi all,

I have a related question to this thread.
I’m in Australia, and unfortunately we use a different z-wave frequency to the US (or Europe) over here.
I can get an Aus frequency Vera 2, but I can’t get an Aus Schlage lock.
Until I can get a “legal” one, I want to use the US version (which I already have), but that won’t work with my Aus Vera :frowning:

Would I be able to bridge an Aus Vera with a US Vera? that would allow me to have two seperate frequency networks, but still control them neatly.
I’m hoping when they are bridged the two networks would still be completely seperate (no shared routing, etc) and just controlled by a single interface. In which case the frequency difference shouldn’t matter…

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sean! …have you been able to connect both freqs? im with your same problem living in Argentina. …and wondering exactly the same thing as you in this post. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience. nico

You should have no issue having both Vera’s bridge to each other using the different zwave frequencies.
