Configuring Philio PHI-PAN06 in wall dual releay switch module

Hi folks! I’m quite new to z-wave, my current initial setup only consists of a Vera Lite and two devices, one of them being the PAN06 by Philio. However, I’m having some trouble configuring this module: after inclusion I am seeing four different switch devices in UI5, all named ‘_Appliance Module’. Only one of them is somehow functional as it switches both relays together. However, the remaining three '_Appliance Module’s appear to not do anything when being switched.
What I had expected was having only two devices which independently operate the individual relays. How can this be achieved?
I’ve noticed that the working device is controlled via ZWave in the advanced setting whereas the not working devices are controlled via ‘_Apliance Module’. I didn’t dare to change anything here yet…
Besides the manual sheet (section 1-2 or 2-2-2) tells me that configuration parameter 1 can be used to change which relays are operated and indeed if I set this parameter only the corresponding relay is switched. However setting this parameter on the not working devices doesn’t change anything (they still do nothing…). Can the working device somehow be copied and be assigned different parameters? Thanks for any help!!

try mios update

Thanks a lot!! Works like a charm now!!
Just in case someone else finds himself in the same situation, here’s what I did:

  1. Install the MiOS Update Utility (Apps->Install Apps-> Search for MiOS Update Utility->Install
After installation it already changes the device names into something more meaningful. However, its not working yet…
  2. Exclude and re-include the the module
    That’s it!
Note: Config parameters (e.g. the wall switch toggle behaviour) need to be set in the master device…

How did you change the behaviour to toggle switch? I dont even know where to set this.

Thanks

Hello pessert
Could you tell me how you configed it?
Thank you

You need to configure your “PAN06 controller” by clicking on the wrench icon.
It’s the device that is controlled by ZWave (see advanced tab).

Go to the tab device options and add a new configuration setting. There you set the variable to 2, 1 byte dec, and 3. (3 is for toggle edge, you might want to try 2 too, 1 is default.)
Close and SAVE. After restart it should work as expected.

If you have a PAN04 the values are different.

I bought two of them.
It shown in Vera as 4 devices. (one main and 3 for additional channels as usual for multichannel devices)
configuration works ok. parameter 1 for selecting relay to operate from main device, parameter 2 for selecting operating behavior (Edge / Pulse / Edge-Toggle mode).

I have only one issue with both devices. Additional channel controllers, even they can be switched on/off from vera, do not perform any actions in device.
Do you know how to configure them properly e.g. e1 will operate both relays, e2 will operate relay 1 and e3 relay 3?

HI Guys,

I too have one of this relays, it works fine for turning on and off etc… however if i manually turn it on via the toggle switch it reports back that the power meter is on and not the light for one toggle switch and reports back that both light triggers are active and not the actual light for the other toggle switch???

Is there any updated support for this relay??

In addition I have been trying to associate a philio 4 in 1 sensor to the really to no avail, how is this done??

Thanks

Scott
