Configure remotely?

Hi,

I’m considering buying HomeWave, as it gets great reviews.

I have two Veras. Right now, I am a long ways away from the second one. Is it possible to configure the far-away Vera remotely, or must I wait wait until I am physically at that location?

You can configure it remotely; just add the IP address, Vera serial nr manually (you can find these on the MiOS page after logging in), alogn with your MiOS credentials.

Keep in mind that you can not control 2 Vera’s at the same time (yet)! You can configure each Vera and save its configuration, then load the configuration for the Vera you wish to control, so you’ll have to switch between them. Switching is fast and easy though.

I’m having a hard time figuring out where to enter the IP address and serial number in my iPhone’s version. How do we access those settings? I loaded a config that I had done on my iPad at home (which saw the Vera remotely), loaded the same config on my iPhone (but away from the house) and it’s obviously not seeing my Vera so I assume I need to put in the remote IP/serial # info.

I had the same problem at first. What your looking for is not under the settings inside the app. It’s under the phone settings app/icon then then find the app in there and your find what your looking for.
