I managed to get the ID of the sensor thanks to RFXmngr and my RFXtrx433E but could find out where I’m supposed to add manualy a the device on the RFXcom interface of my VeraLite.
I already use RFXtrx controller device to manage my other Oregon temp / humidity / rain sensors with no problem (as they are automaticaly recognized).
When I try to add a device from the RFXtrx controller device page, the dropdown list doesn’t show any Rubicson related device or the possibility to create a
generic device thanks to the ID for instance.
I guess it should be automatically created also?
If you go to the RFX controller device on the Vera, is “Automatic creation” turned on?
Look for the option in the “managed devices” tab, at the bottom of the page.
Keep your banggood device close to the rfx receiver and wait.
Hi,
I am facing the same problem. Any conclusion about the compatibility?
I have updated my RFXTRX433E to ver.1005 and used the latest device files for Vera (beta 3) but the devices are not seen by Vera.
The RFXTRX433E receives data from them so seems to be fine.
I have read that these protocols are needed: RUBiCSON/Lacrosse/Banggood. All of them seem to be running on the RFXTRX433E but I do not see “Banggood” in the list of protocols in Vera.
Edit: The required protocol is Rubicson. You need the RFX firmware released in February (or a more recent one) and version 1.0 of the RFXtrx plugin (not just beta 3).
