Compatibility with duewi's Z-Wave wall-mounted transmitter (05443)

Is this EU/868 MHz device compatible with Vera?

http://www.duewi.de/index.php?productid=37276

Z-Wave capabilities: 18,150,0,1,1,1|114,128,133,

Has anybody managed to get the wall-mounted transmitter to work with vera, by now??

I havent seen anyone actually integrate it into Vera. It seems its equivalent to a remote, only created as a wallmounted remote to be associated directly with another z-wave device.

Heres a hardware link;

ill ask my supplier if he had any succes pairing it to Vera.

I have a couple of these, though mine say type 05460 on the box. I don’t know if this is because they are a newer or older model, or have a different product number because they come with a Busch-jaeger rocker and frame.

The ones I have are compatible with Vera in the sense that they are recognised, assigned a node ID, and Vera reports their battery status as well. But they are not capable of triggering scenes.

Is this a fact or speculation? I suspect there might be a way to associate them but since the documentaion is so stupid I really don’t know what functions are exactly supported.
I speculate that they are not able to accept commands like the fibaro switches do so you cannot associate them remotely with vera.
But association is possible once you have integrated them into the network. Maybe there is a trick to tell the duewis to associate with vera.
As vera shows them as controllers I suspect they have to be associated as binary switches.
Any suggestions?

I have tried a few things but never managed to get a scene triggered by them… But I’m not 100% certain; perhaps there is a trick. Would they have to be associated with Vera though? I have a few HSM scene controllers, and all I had to do to get them to set off scenes is include them in the network, no association necessary.
