First of, apologies for the length of this post.
I have a Vera Lite (firmware 1.7.388) with multiple Fibaro Relay FGS211 v2.1 and Fibaro Dimmer FGD211 v2.2 modules, plus some TKBHome Plugs. Everything that is connected is working.
The problem I am having is with 3 Fibaro modules that I purchased a while ago and now want to add to my network. I had originally added them to my network using the process in this link (http://dmlogic.com/blog/z-wave-lighting-with-vera-and-fibaro). After doing so I noticed that there were extra “_Appliance Module” devices added, and being a novice, I deleted them as I thought they were superfluous. This resulted in the actual dimmer devices disappearing from Vera.
Now, my electrician is due to install these 3 modules in some light switches and so I wanted to add them again to my network. Having read the instructions - properly this time 
- I know I need to exclude or reset the modules before adding them again, but I am having some problems doing so. I have tried several techniques to do this but nothing seems to work.
Test 1 - Exclude

- Press - button on Vera unit
- Press B button on Fibaro module 3 times rapidly
Result
- Orange light flashes rapidly on unit and message “Comm error 3” appears in Vera web interface after pressing - button. Orange light flashes for a few minutes and then goes out completely. I have to reboot the unit so that all three lights are illuminated (blue, orange and green).
Test 2 - Include
Actions
- Press + button on Vera unit
- Press B button on module 3 times rapidly
Result
- Orange light flashes on unit and message “Comm error 3” appears in Vera web interface after pressing + button. Eventually the orange light stops flashing and goes out completely. I have to reboot the unit so that all three lights are illuminated (blue, orange and green).
Test 3 - Include

In web interface:
- from Devices page click Add device
- click Additional Devices
- click Generic Device
- click Next button and Next button
Press B button on module 3 times rapidly
Result
- Orange does not flash on Vera unit, and nothing is detected during 60 seconds.
Test 4 - Exclude
Actions
In web interface, after Test 3 failed I try the exclude process.
Result
- Orange does not flash on Vera unit, and nothing happens during 60 seconds.
I’m not sure what is going on, is it:
- a problem with the Vera unit (although everything else works)?
- a problem with UI7?
- a problem with the Fibaro modules (all 3?)
N.B. The Fibaro module is connected to a standard power cable via N (blue) & L (brown).
I would appreciate any suggestions / things to try to fix this.
