Clean Sweep

So, how do I nuke my entire system and start over? I have replaced a bunch of switches, moved a few and just had a few die and now my Vera is full of old and bad info. I would rather spend a few hours reconnecting everything than trying to clean up this mess (of my own design).

if you find a way to do this, please post it here. i have look all over for that information, but nothing concrete. For the most part I have read post saying press the reset button on the back of the Vera twice (I am using Vera 1) and that should default to factory, but devices are still in the database, and I have not been able to really do a clean sweep on a successful manner.

I read on the official announcement pages that downgrading from UI3 to UI2 will do a factory reset to everything on the Vera, so I might try that, but it will be fantactic to have a clear idea of how to reset all Vera settings (networking and Zwave) to start from zero as if the unit was brand new.

first you need to un-install all Zwave devices from VERA. Each and every device do a remove. THen you can do a RESET Z-wave network under Zwave options. UI-2 and 3

Ui-4 not sure how to reset Zwave. The small hole on the back will reset Vera to factory settings by double pressing the button with a paper-clip
“You double press (quickly), using a paper clip or a small pen, the reset button on the back of Vera.” MCVOVIDIU

Sounds like it might be easier to clean the house up one room at a time. Not looking forward to this but it is my mess I guess.
