Changed Fibaro Door sensor from Motion to Door and POOF! Disappeared

Hi,

Added a Fibaro Door/Window Sensor to Vera, which showed up as a motion sensor.

No probs, changed the Device_Type, Device_File and Device_json to be DoorSensor instead of MotionSensor.

The device has now disappeared entirely from the UI, but is still selectable in PLEG, visible in device list and works with the Garage Door plugin. So it’s still there, just not in the UI any more.

Any suggestions on how to make it reappear? I’ve tried unpairing/pairing it which brings it back as the motion sensor, but it vanishes as soon as change the files over.

I’ve got other Fibaro Door sensors working ok after making the change, so no idea what’s happening here.

I also had a similar experience and followed your suggestion to change the fields from motions Ensor to doorsensor (thanks) and the device disappeared but after rebooting Vera hub they were back with the correct type.
