I just installed Vera and all is going well. I get text message alerts for certain events such as garage open and closed and certain lights being turned on and off. Can I control the content of the message? I’d like to get rid of the obvious “On Vera #xxxx the event”, “was triggered by” and “in the room”.

I just want to say the ID of the Vera, the name of the event and the time, for example:

Vera 9999: Garage 1 Opened 2009-08-12 14:25:12

Just that.

you can use a different notification plugin like Vera Alerts or HomeWave. They work in concert with other apps or on their own.
