Chacon CH54741 recognized as RFX Remote L1.1

Hello,

I am trying to install a chacon motion sensor CH54741 with my vera lite & rfxtrx plugin (beta 2 version).

When detecting the sensor, it is seen as “RFX Remote L1.1/K” (with the dim/bright/group on/group off buttons), and not as a ARC/Lightning sensor as I expected.

Advanced parameters on this device in Vera are :

  • device_type : urn:rfxcom-com:device:X10ChaconRemote:1
  • altid : RC/L1.1/K
  • device file : X10ChaconRemote1.xml

I have captured the rfxtrx output with RFXManager on PC, below the results (house code K, unit code 2)
“On” triggered : 071001014B020150
“Off” Triggered : 071001054B020070
“Chime” triggered : 071001094B080740

Is there a way to have it recognised as a sensor ?

Dont you have a switch light device un addition ?
Use th? plugin UI tout concert this switch device info a motion device.

I also have a device “RFX Light L1.1/K02” that has been automatically created, whereas no light is configured (for the moment).

How do I proceed to turn the switch into a motion sensor ?

Open the “managed devices” tab, select your device in the table and then change its type. Vera will reload and you will get a motion sensor. Free your Web browser cache after the reload.

Last thing, if I want to “duplicate” this motion detector, being both a detector and a “light” (2 devices seen with UI5), how could I proceed ?

It is not possible simply with the plugin.
But it is certainly doable with an additional virtual switch and scenes to update it when the rfx device state is updated.
