Hi. I’ve just bought a Vera2, and want to use it as a secondary controller to my Aeon Labs Z-Stick. I go in to the Vera web page, click on Add/remove device, then Next next to Z-wave. Then I click Add MiOS to another Z-Wave network - it comes up saying success, and in the corner says “Waiting for data”. I press the button on my dongle (which is just lying on top of the vera), but it does nothing and then says “Timed out waiting for download”.
So how do I get the Vera 2 to be a secondary controller to an Aeon Labs Z-Stick? I have set up other secondary controllers for it in this way without problem, but the Vera just doesn’t seem to communicate with it.

Pressing the button on the dongle only puts the dongle into include or exclude mode, I’m pretty sure the Aeon Labs Z-Stick needs to be connected to a controller (*Edit. that is a primary ) for your Vera 2 to be added to it as a secondary controller.
Thanks. I’m not entirely sure that’s the case - I thought that to make the Vera 2 a secondary controller, you needed to add it as a device to the primary controller’s network.
Has anyone managed to do this who can share their steps?
Thanks
Martin
