I just setup my Vera3, everything works OK except I can’t record with the Vista Cam and even if I specify to take a picture every 5 minutes and keep it for365 days, when I click Archive, it pops up a dialog box saying “Camera archives are not available”

In order for the Archiving function to work, you will have to also fill in the MAC address for
each camera, in the Settings on the Dashboard. Without the MAC address the
Archiving feature will not work.
