Can't logon to ver3

I cannot logon to my vera3. When I type in the ip address of the unit, it say “unit busy”. I tried resetting the unit. The “wan” light blinks quickly.

Check your network cabling and power cycle the Vera. The WAN light should be solid, when Vera is able to connect to the internet.

I did that, but the light is still flashing. I still can’t connect from my web browser.

Have you checked the cable that goes from Vera to your router/switch? Perhaps swap it with a known good cable? We buy good quality cables at works and it would not be the 1st time one brand new out of the bag didn’t have signal on all 8 strands.

Can you ping Vera’s IP address?

This happened to me last week.

The only way I could login was to go via the servers, once in I then uploaded a backup and all was well.

Yes I can ping it. I also changed cables. I plugged it directly into the switch. Still no connection.

Try the following and see if that fixes the issue.

Press and hold the HELP button for 5 seconds and keep pressed until you see all lights go out
After all lights are out (except the power light which should be solid green) unplug the power.
Wait about a minute and plug the power back in. Once Vera is booted up completely. try accessing via http://cp.mios.com (UI5) or the getvera.com site (UI6)

If no relief, you may have to contact Vera support for guidance.
