I am trying to change locations with my VERA3, which in this case means a new router with a new IP address. When I try to connect using cp.mios.com, I do not get any response. I tried to go back through the setup and start from the beginning, so I went to micasaverde.com/vera3. I am on the same LAN when trying this setup. I get a message that says “attempting to connect to 300…” which is in fact my Vera number. But at the same time, I get a windows security pop up screen asking for my username and password. I have tried every name and password I know to no avail. After 3 times, the bos disappears and I get an error saying that it can’t connect. I have tried the password on the bottom of the box along with root as the username. This does not work. I have tried the account username and password that use to work for mios.com, and this doesn’t work either. I can however, use the root and the pwd on the bottom of the unit to ssh into the Vera. This is very very frustrating, can someone please help as I need to change this router soon and I can’t do it until I get this fixed.
