I don’t know when that started to happen, but I have a Vera3 with the latest UI7 version (1.7.855) and I’m not able to login through home.getvera.com. I enter my credentials, things seem to work up until I get redirected to my device. At that point I get the Vera logo at the top and a never ending spinning wheel on the screen. Eventually, after what appears to be forever, it fails saying that lua took too long to reload, or something of that nature.
I can use most of the system if I hit my Vera3 directly, but obviously is only an option when I’m on the same network as the unit. Remote access is basically not working for me.
Is this a known issue? Does anybody know how to resolve it?
Had the same problem since a couple of days. Your suggestion of using the old software solved the problem. After accessing my Vera Edge the normal access was functional again. Strange…
I know Internet Explorer on Windows shows this behavior at times. It’s generally fixed by pressing CTRL-SHFT-DEL inside the Internet Explorer window. Then in the dialog that opens makes sure evry option is checked but the top one. (preserve website data). Then click the delete button and wait for IE to pop up at the bottom of it’s windows that it’s completed. Close IE using ALT-F4 and re-open it. This fixes issues with a lot of sites BTW.
Close all your browsers.
Then go to your Windows cookies folder at C:\Users"Your User"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low\ and look for any cookie that has “mios” in it and delete it.
Reopen browser and try to connect thru home.getvera.com again.
I’m using Windows 10 and Edge as my browser.
I thought the problem was on my device, but I went ahead and closed all of the Edge windows, cleared the cookies and tried again. It worked!
Thanks additude!
I wrote a batch file because I have this problem frequently and it searches for the right cookie(s) and if it finds one it deletes it automatically. The problem is that if the browser connects remotely and you try to connect locally, if the cookie has not been closed it still thinks it is remote and also visa-versa. Delete the MiOS cookie(s) and it’s all good.
