Since the release of the new firmware, my Vera has been working flawlessly, but… I cannot access the dashboard remotely. When I’m home, I can access it locally just fine, but when remote, I get ‘loading data in progress’ and ‘server busy’. It then fails to ‘Data not loading?’ but none of the links presented there seem to work. I have tried power cycling Vera but to no avail.
Strangely enough, this was working fine before the new firmware although I haven’t a clue if this problem is related to it.
Any ideas?
Have you rebooted the Vera unit after the firmware upgrade? Give that a try. I always reboot the unit after a firmware update to be safe. It seems like the tunnels that connect to MCV’s servers are not connected.
Yep, that was the first thing I did after upgrading. Not sure why I can’t access remotely. Got an email message in to MCV support but hoping someone else has run into this as well and can give me some ideas on what to try.
Did you get any luck fixing this! It has worked fine in the past for me but not now when I really need to switch vera remotely!

Unfortunately, I’m still struggling with it. Generally, a Vera reboot has re-enabled remote access but it always reverts to no remote access - typically within a day or two, sometimes sooner. MCV is aware but has yet to resolve it.
FWIW - I’ve never been able to access remotely once it starts failing without a reboot.
FWIW - I just reinstalled firmware 1183 based on an MCV recommendation and it seems to be working. Let’s see how long Vera remains accessible remotely…
