Can't connecto to ETH1

I’m using my Vera2 for a while now, and recently wanted to give the thing a static IP-address. I also turned off Wifi, I don’t use it anyway. Bad idea, because now the ETH1 port won’t connect to the internet. The ETH1 light blinks twice fast, what on earth does that mean? So, I put it back to it’s original settings using ETH2. Doesn’t really help, still can’t find the internet.
The initial setup went very well, so I don’t mind returning the whole thing back to factory settings, but how on earth do I perform a proper reset!? The wiki only describes how to do so with Vera1, not very usefull.

So, can anyone help me ‘unbrick’ this thing? Thanks.

the only connection i have with my vera2 is ETH1 connected to my wireless router; that’s it and for 2 years now i have had no problem. ETH2 is not connected to anything at all

@nielsie
Don’t you have internet in Vera or in the ETH2 ?
When you put in Advanced - Net Wi-fi, it showed the message “Internet access is ok” ?
I don’t know but maybe this can help you http://docs2.mios.com/doc.php?language=1&manual=1&platform=0&page=advanced_settings_net_and_wifi_wificlientmode
or this http://docs2.mios.com/doc.php?language=1&manual=1&platform=0&page=reset_factory_defaults

Yeah, that last link helped! I found how to reset it to factory settings (pushing the reset switch twice fast), and now it’s working again! Thanks.

I’ll dig up this thread, because I’ve had exactly the same issue, searched and found this thread, and was never able to solve it until today.

These are my static IP settings. I had no internet connectivity until I set the DNS server to 208.67.222.222:

Now everything’s OK.
