Can't connect FI9853EP to UI7

Hello,

This will do two days I fight with my camera FOSCAM.

Voila, I installed and connected to the home network

I configured with the application on android (fixed IP: 192.168.0.29)

I managed to make it work with monitoring station on synology with as parameter:

  • Ip address: 192.168.0.29
  • Port: 888
  • Brand: [ONVIF]
  • Model: [Generic_ONVIF]
  • User: xxxx
  • Password: xxxx

on UI7
I did
“Add a camera”
“Generic camera”

then, even in your device I put

  • Name of camera: camera

  • Select your camera types: other ip camera

  • Paste the full URL qui returns a JPG file / snapshot: I do not know what to wear but I tested http://192.168.0.29/snapshot.cgi and it does not work.

  • Username: xxx

  • Password: xxx
    List network devices
    The I do not understand what is happening, the vera list all my devices but no 192.168.0.29 …
    However, I have the IP 192.168.0.31 which the mac address of my camera.

    I tried with advance ip scanner that gives me 192.168.0.29 with the right mac address

In short, it does not work

If someone had the solution, I ran through many forums but found nothing
In parallel, I will contact the carrier FOSCAM

I’ve had the same problem and never got it working. I tried using the mjpeg sub stream and that didn’t work either. After several attempts on several occasions I just gave up.

Sorry I couldn’t help. If someone posts a solution I might give it another shot.

In URL, I have try many url (in internet explorer …it don’t work on chrome and firefox)

And finally, it is the last one who work
So, if you can’t watch the picture, it is useless to go further

Now, you must do

  • Add device

  • security camera

  • generic ip camera

  • Next 2 time

  • Manually install camera

  • 1 Name : what you want but short

  • 2 select camera type : Other ip camera
    URL : the url who work for you

  • 3 Fill in the IP address : go down in “list network device” and choose your or any (it don’t change parametre)

  • 4 Fill in the username and password : perform according to its own configuration

click next.
on the next page, if you don’t see an image, it doesn’t matter, you know your url works anyway because previously tested in IE.
