Cannot remove or download images in the Camera Archives area

When you press the Archive Snapshot button in the Camera Control area of a FosCam camera, it does not store the image in the My Alerts area of the dashboard. Instead it stores it in the Camera archives area for that camera. (Click on the Archive button for a specific camera to go to the My Archive area for that camera. Unfortunately, the images in the Camera archives are can be neither downloaded or deleted. Also, the images in the Camera archives are do not appear to be viewable for more than a couple of days. Is anyone else having a similar experience? Is MCV going to make changes in an upcoming release so that these images remain longer and can be deleted?

I’m having the same problem, whenever I try to download from the notification center, the lightbox that pops up just seems to pinwheel forever.

I have the same problem, but two-fold. When I go to the My Alerts section, I get the spinning loading wheel forever and image never loads. But even worse, when I click on Archive button, I get the following error: Camera archives are not available.

So I can’t see either :frowning:

I’ve logged a ticket on my VeraLite, hopefully this is a known issue and/or a simple fix. Everything was working the other day while I was messing around with my camera, not sure what changed.

Hmm, MCV logged into my unit and fixed this. However, I’ve been testing some code for a Trendnet TV-IP400W and have deleted and added the camera since then, and I am having the same problem again. I wonder what needs to be fixed on my Vera, or if this is a remote MCV server issue of some sort???

Error: Camera archives are not available.

Any suggestions?

For archiving to work, you will need to set the camera MAC address (probably under camera control panel / Settings / MAC )
