Cannot login or change password today

Hi all

Is there a problem with the mios server? I am unable to login or even change my password.

Thanks
Mike

I’m having the same issue. I was able to log in earlier today too.

I’m having the same problem too. :frowning:

Just when I thought reliability of my UI7 system was getting better…geez

I take that back. It’s finally let me log in, and then it said I didn’t have any controllers. Now it’s trying to get my controllers and just spinning.

I’m trying REALLY hard to work with you, VERA, but ya gotta at least meet me halfway here!!!

Same here. Android app said i have no controllers, so i hit logout. I’ve typed my account info back in and it’s spinning. Locally on Windows using Nexus.getvera.com says incorrect username or password with the same cached info still in my browser… dead in the water.

Hi all

You’re doing better than me. I cannot login with iOS app or even locally into the controller.

I am spending too much time on this thing.
Mike

How the fuck did they break local login?! Even direct to the IP is not working… maybe a plugin issue? I’m using DSC, Energy and MyQ.

Ok, good… Its not just me. Well, not good, but misery loves company.

I am having the same issues. Not able to log in. Login hangs for a while and then get a notification that I have no controllers. When I access the IP directly I get the frame of the UI and just a spinner which never ends.

Status page states connectivity issues with Vera servers: http://status.getvera.com/

I have to say; As a software developer; I do expect that it should be possible to access the controller directly and operate it normally despite that your servers are having issues. That the controller have to communicate with remote servers to be operated is to fragile in my opinion.

cp.mios.com appears to be working… home.getvera.com is won’t let me login and my local access is even messed up… :-\

Same issue here … can’t login on Android app, local login results in the webpage showing but I can’t click any links, what on earth is happening? I’m glad it’s not just me otherwise I’d do a factory reset. Ugh.

ah just saw this on http://status.getvera.com/ - apparently they are aware of the issue. I thought my veralite could operate without internet connectivity but apparently not. Major outages with logins throughout. Let’s hop they resolve this soon

Glad it is not just me! Tried VeraMate and local login. Can’t login.

Vera is not very good with their QA team when they push updates (or whatever they did to break everyone’s Vera!

This is just ridiculous, can’t login locally to our controllers. I can understand them having issues with their servers, hey shit happens but why can’t I login to my controller locally. Whenever I start to feel OK with Vera another stupid thing happens.

Can get in now… can someone from Vera explain how local login died here and when you will correcting that “Feature”?

Not working for me…!

I can only login locally. The iOS app still cannot connect to the controller.

Status page says all is normal.

I may try a power cycle…

It finally worked through the app.
It’s scary that we cannot login locally during these outages. It appears it’s completely reliant on the external server.

I purchased the Vera primarily because it wasn’t supposed to be tied to some flaky cloud service…

This isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it’s the first in a while.

Hopefully they’ll fix the issue by allowing users to not have their device tied to their cloud service, so I can still use my device when their servers go all wonky.
