Cannot log into my VeraPlus through MIOS

Today I tried to log in to my VeraPlus by going through “Login” . The result was very odd.

I could login to website, the website found my VeraPlus and offered the “CONNECT” button. However when I pressed the connect button, after a short wait the page announced “try a direct connection” and my browser logged into my VeraPlus via the local LAN address. I.e. not going through Vera servers.

Anyone had similar experiences?

That’s how it’s always worked for me. I usually go directly to the Vera’s IP on my LAN (no login.) If I need to login, it sends me to the getvera login page and I see the behavior you describe. If I’m away from home, I use a VPN, so Vera is still local.

Perhaps you are right. I recently upgraded firmware which caused issues with my unit. So now I’m paying more attention.
