Last 3 days I can’t connect to my Vera Edge anymore (no via remote or local). All lights on VERA lightning but SERVICE light don’t. What’s wrong with my controller and how can I fix this?
I can’t connect to user interface to add some devices or add scenes!!! Before these 3 days Vera works great…
I can control my devices via 3rd part IOS apps, but not with Vera Mobile ui7 app or any browser…
Today is 10th day which i can?t login to my Vera Edge controller and add or modify my settings. Is the any way to solve the problem? Service LED on my vera edge don’t light.
I still waiting for vera tech support people to solve this. :-[
Otherwise I throw away this controller and buy new one - other brand not vera anymore.
The last 3 days John (and other people from supporting team) worked so hard to solve my problem with Vera Edge-EU. They worked for about 6 hours but no luck. My Vera is officialy DEAD. Damn.
But they will send me a new one.
Guys for tech support: TNX AGAIN!
One month Vera worked great, especially after new firmware at 22. DEC. But then after two weeks suddenly i could not connect to the unit anymore. Service LED does not light up again when unit is running. So, That’s it :‘( :’(

Same issue with my Vera Edge (EU) since 2 Days! Service LED does not turn on right after Firmware (7.0.4) upgrade. However I can connect locally since I have not jet secured it. But I can not do any setting that needs connection to my account at the Vera servers.

Stephen, I saw your support ticket and prioritized it. I’m not sure if the staff member you addressed it to is in right now, if he isn’t someone else will be with you shortly.

Yes this was an Issue I had and other after the update you lost remote connection. They were able to fix it. There was an email that went out on this.
Thank’s everybody, Tunnels (indicated by the Service LED) are working again. Good support job and very reactive! Thanks, David from Romania who did the final trick!
However, what worries me is: What if I had secured my vera already before? Then I would not have been able to setup the service tunnel using the local HTML-Front-End! Can anyone ease my fears by explaining how that would have been solved then?
I recently got the same issue after upgrading to 1.7.961 . Cannot connect remotely or access my backups, energy or anything else that needs logging-in.

A 30 min phone call would fix this. Have you called VERA?
My brand new Vera Edge is showing the same symptoms. The “service” light has never come on. I can access the unit from my browser, but the initial setup wizard will not see it nor can I manually enter he SN/MAC.
No one in support seems to respond to emails? I have called too and no one ever answers the phone!
