Cannot connect to iVera and VeraMobile apps.

Yesterday I wanted to switch light with the iVera app on my iPhone.
No connection possible. No message from the app.
Today I found out that there is a new app: VeraMobile… but that cannot connect either with the known user and password.

Ok… Lets define a new MIOS unit user: but the app says that the serial number and/or the MAC address is not correct.
I’ve checked it twice and had it checked by a friend. Exactly entered the serial number and the MAC address.

Device is a Vera3, connection through MiOS is ok.
Internet connection is OK, wifi is ok.

What is wrong here?

Hi there, iVera is a third party app, not made by us, over which we don’t have control.

Our official apps do not ask for MAC address so I suspect you are using some 3’rd party app.
If you’re still having issues don’t hesitate check this with our support team as well.

Doesn’t work either.

I’ve found 3 apps in the apple store:

  1. VeraMobile? By Mios Limited - last update mar 15, 2017 - which cannot connect to my device. (asks for MAC and serial if new device selected)
  2. VeraMobile? Legacy Edition UI6 By Mios Limited - last update nov 17, 2015 - which cannot connect either.
  3. Vera Mobile App By Mios Limited - last update sept 10, 2012 - which does connect but is unusable (switching light from this app results in flicker.

So? What can I do?

I cannot say anything about iVera. I’ve deleted it and it is not in the app-store anymore.
