I have a U15 and am using a 45609 switch alone with no slave and every time I try to assign it to a room and save, it goes back to no room. Every other device worked fine. Any Ideas? firmware 45609
The room assignment is an entirely Vera concept/record. It is just a flag in Vera’s internal database. It has nothing at all to do with the actual device.
Common issues with Vera not saving or not seeming to save are usually browser related.
If you are using Internet Explorer, try Mozilla or Chrome.
Clear your browser’s cache.
Refresh the page. F5
If none of those work, you might try to reload or power cycle the Vera.
i have what might be the same issue, with multiple browsers on multiple computers, even after a reboot of my Vera3.
Issue is with a Insteon device, the issue is with 1 kitchen dimmer only. all other devices remain in the room I assign.
i tried to delete the kitchen dimmer and re-add it, but the issue persists.
i am able to assign the dimmer to the room i call “kitchen” and save, and refresh. the dimmer remains for about 5 seconds, and then disappears from the room kitchen, and re-appears in “unassigned”
Quite strange
