I’m trying to achieve the alarm with vera.
I have two sensor 3 in 1 and a door sensor.
I do not know how to activate the alarm. I do not know how to manage the start of the alarm or not.
can you help me?
You mention some devices, but what do you mean by starting the alarm ? Some kind of notifications sent to you by email ?

If you just want to be notified with email or SMS when a sensor is tripped, you can use the “Notification” tab of the device. Here you can setup which users will be notified when it is tripped.
Do we have any regular readers that speak French that can better explain this to neoloop?

J’ai deux détecteur de mouvements 3 en 1 et deux capteur d’ouverture de porte.
j’ai réussie a placer un scripte sur chaque capteur pour recevoir une alerte a chaque détection.
mais le probleme et que je recoie a chaque détection un message.
Y a t’il une solution pour passer les détecteur en actif donc il envoie un message a chaque détection et un mode passif ou la il n’envoie rien. J’ai cherché du coté de armer en bypass mais ca na rien changé.
Je cherche une solution, scripte ou autre pour passer tous les capteurs en même temps en détection lorsque je part de la maison par exemple, et lorsque je lui dans la maison que les capteurs n’envoie rien.
je ne sais pas si j’ai été claire

You have 2 motions detectors and 2 door sensors.
You want to receive a notification if the motion detectors are “tripped” when armed.
First, as said by Fall-Line, yous have to configure every detector to send a notification if they get tripped when armed (dis-moi si ce n’est pas clair pour le faire)
Then you have to create 2 scenes:
[ul][li]one to arm the devices when you leave[/li]
[li]one to bypass (disarming) the devices when you get in[/li][/ul]
The problem is to determine what will trigger the scenes for “arming” and “disarming” the devices.
If you have an iPhone (or something similar), you can use it to fire the appropriate scene.
Maybe somebody else will have more suggestions.

…and also, when you setup the notification, you have to choose “Add notification for: An armed sensor is tripped”.

To arm all sensors in one shot, you have to create a scene, use the “commands” page (in the scene), select the room where is the device to arm, select the device, choose the “arm” command, and “Leave it”. If some devices are in others rooms, you then select the other room one by one and select the devices in that room, and “Arm”, all in the same scene.
In another scene, you do the same to disarm, except that you choose “Bypass”.
For the notifications, you can do it directly on the device (tell me if you don’t see how) instead of doing it in a scene. Maybe somebody else could comment on which way is better.
