Can Vera Power my TV on when i trigger a scene

I have an LG/Samsung TV’s around the house, id ideally like to be able to power them on via a scene.

It would be nice to trigger a scene based on time, say 6:00am, to turn the kitchen TV on and KODI to have the news on.

Is this possible?
And if so what do i need to look at?

Thanks

Yes, I have been able to do that all along with the Harmony app for Vera. Vera has (mostly) always been able to control the Harmony. The new(er) part is having the Harmony control Vera. The thing you need in both cases is a Harmony remote that includes the Home Hub (not the Hub Extender)."

Vera can also use infrared blasters like the Global Cache iTach products to control almost any infrared capable device such as TVs, receivers, air conditioners…

A single iTach can be used to simultaneously control multiple devices, however if your TVs are in different rooms, you will likely need multiple iTachs.

Hey Z, I thought these weren’t working well on U17 yet?

Sorry, I haven’t tested any with UI7, so I can’t speak to this.

There is a UI7 compatible app in the app store that is detailed here.

Have a look at:

Works great! I send codes to my TV and cable box. I have my Pronto remotes sending codes to multiple Zwave devices as well. With the Kira module and the Kira plugin bidirectional operation is easy! I just wouldn’t want to without it!

Anyone have experience with Remotec’s solution:
ZXT-310 or ZXT-300?
