can vera log on to a website...

Hey guys,

Not sure if this has been asked, I’m sure I just couldnt come up with the correct search terms. My vera lite should be here next week and I was doing a little brainstorming. For my alarm system I have the Lynx Plus with adt pulse. From what I can tell, that cant be controlled through vera, but having the pulse feature, which can be controlled from a web browser or android app, would it be possible to have vera log on to the pulse website and “click” the arm button?

I plan on using @RichardTSchaefer voice control, and would like to be able to say “bed time” or something, have the lights turn off, maybe turn on a night light for the kids, and have the alarm arm. The only part I cant work out is the arming of the alarm system.

You would have to create a plugin to interface with the website. Unless you can find the http command to arm the panel.

Thanks Garrett! Would I be able to accomplish this with PLEG or will I need to dig into Lua?

Also think I am going to try a packet sniffer to attempt to see the http command.

On a side note, do you have to do the “verification” every time you post? Wouldn’t be a big deal, but those letters aren’t that easy to read.

Not once you have about 25 or so posts. It was implemented due to the qty of spammers that were targeting the board.
