It seems that For each scene I have to create a new schedule… for instance… if I want something to happen at 5PM, and another scene that happens at 5PM, I have to create a separate schedule for each one… now in the future if I change that to be 6PM instead of having to only modify one schedule, I now have to do all of them. Thoughts?
You can switch your scenes over to PLEG and you can have events share the same schedule. Changing the schedule in one location (within PLEG) and all of your events (scenes) will change accordingly.
Adding to @Bulldoglowell’s excellent recomendation…
It sounds like you may benefit from using a sunset offset( e.g. 15 minutes before Sunset). This allows a scheduled time to automatically adjust with the sunset time in your area and eliminates the need to use an absolute time value that you need to manually adjust.
Going to check out PLEG… as for the sunset stuff, that is an awesome feature… but in this case that specific time was just an example (not related to sundown)…
